Day #113

Another tour today! Wow, Prague just keeps getting more and more impressive. Before the tour, we had a delicious hostel breakfast (A REAL MEAL WOO HOO!! Oh how I've missed eggs). The tour started at 11am right in front of the Astronomical Clock, which did its cool little dance right at 11 sharp.

Since this tour was in the daylight, we got to see a lot more of the buildings, people, streets, and culture of Prague. It ended around 1, and oh yeah, it was about 55-60 DEGREES OUTSIDE TODAY! So our tour was not only informative, interesting, funny, exciting, and more, but Alice and I also didn't freeze to death, which we considered a success.

We ate lunch at a cafe the tour guide recommended- a favorite of Kafka, conveniently located across from our hostel, called Cafe Louvre. Look at this delicious quiche and $1 beer:

I bet everyone missed all those food pictures, right?

After a few more sights (including this beautiful view from across the water:

Isn't it just the prettiest thing you've ever seen?), we went back to our hostel to participate in beer tasting (a hostel- sponsored activity which took place right in the lounge of the hostel!) and make dinner- the first dinner I've cooked in wayyyyy too long. So, of course, I had to snap a quick pic:

Pasta with meat sauce and boiled zucchini. Even my plate was pretty today!
