Our first tourist stop of the day was La Madeleine, a more recent church ("recent" as in the 18th century) that we happened upon which was dedicated to Mary Magdalene. Second, we visited the Palais Garnier, the Opéra de Paris, which is where the Phantom of the Opera is set. What an incredible space- the actual theatre and the rest of the building both. The Phantom of the Opera definitely was there inside our minds.
We consumed another baguette for lunch (they're served for breakfast at our hostel every day and we've gotten delicious baguette sandwiches for lunch the past couple days), then headed to the Eiffel Tower. I had to turn my camera sideways to get the entire thing in one picture. Uh, I mean, I meant this to be super artsy:
