After a four hour train ride (which was long, but actually pretty relaxing- I got to read and nap and see some of the rolling countryside blanketed in snow), we arrived in Prague! And I have to say... Prague did not disappoint.
Our hostel is in a prime location, and look at that view from our window:
What a skyline!! Prague has so much personality. We ran over to Tesco quickly (YUP PRAGUE HAS TESCO TOO BECAUSE IT'S AWESOME), we had lunch and got to breathe at the hostel a little bit. They offer a free ghost tour, so at 7pm Alice and I lit the tea lights they gave us a and followed our cloaked guide through the winding cobblestone paths connecting historic districts and lingering Christmas markets that perfumed the air with the smell of hot wine. Does is really get any better than that?
Answer: YES! We made some friends on the tour, and played foosball and cards with them (...I'm not very good at foosball).
All in all, Prague has been very welcoming. We're looking forward to having live music at breakfast and taking a free walking tour tomorrow!
Dobrou Noc!
you should take a night train. fo realz.
